Frequent trips to the doctor"s office can be difficult for many people, especially for those who work with acute pain or disability, and chiropractic care is not for all. Since the approval of chiropractic treatment is increasing in mainstream medical community, the number of chiropractors and range of diseases treated by this form of medicine is expected to rise. Research on the effectiveness of chiropractic care as a treatment for many neurological and other diseases is currently underway, with clinical trials conducted around the United States. Growing concern over long-term use of non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and narcotic analgesics will drive more and more patients to the practical, drug-free method of chiropractic medicine.
